兴文经开区灾后重建
Xingwen Economic and Technological Development Zone (Xingwen ETDZ) in Bazhong, Sichuan Province is a provincial-level key development zone announced by the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) on April 17th, 2006, with an area of about 80 square kilometers, and 45 square kilometers of buildable land. The core area is located in Xingwen Town, with a planning area of 50 square kilometers, and the buildable land area of the planning area reaches 30 square kilometers, including 12 square kilometers of industrial parks, 18 square kilometers of urban functional areas, and a planned population of 350,000 people.
As of 2019, the built-up area of the Economic Development Zone reached 17 square kilometers and the population exceeded 120,000 people. There are more than 600 enterprises in the industrial park, including 26 state-owned industries, and the cumulative industrial investment is nearly 15 billion yuan.
